The on-going situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) has started to impact international and UK businesses, due to a mixture of travel restrictions, stock availability issues, manufacturing shut downs and quarantine procedures.
So, we thought it was important to give an update for our present and future customers on the current situation from Ralph Bentley HQ.
As Ralph Bentley are based in a small town on the North Yorkshire coast, we are yet to feel the full effects of this international outbreak. Our office and customer services team are still working as normal, however, some of our suppliers and manufacturers are based in city locations around the UK or are based overseas.
At the moment, our suppliers are operating at normal capacity. However, some stocks of certain products are no longer being shipped from manufacturers, especially if they are based overseas. For example, hand sanitisers and disinfectant products are no longer available to purchase via our website and our suppliers have withdrawn these items from sale, as there's unlikely to be no new stock available for quite some time.
If the situation develops and the virus leads to supplier or manufacturer shut downs, we will notify customers as soon as we can. All orders are covered by our 30 day money back guarantee and the full value of your order is covered by PayPal, Shopify or Apple Pay policies.
So, if we have to cancel your order due to stock availability issues or due to suppliers being temporarily shut down, you will receive a full refund back to the original credit/debit card or payment service that you used to place your order, usually within 24 hours.
