UPDATED 13.03.2020: All orders are shipping as normal. There may be delays during delivery, subject to Royal Mail, DPD Local and MyHermes dealing with the increase in home deliveries during the Coronavirus situation.
The on-going situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) has started to impact international and UK businesses, due to a mixture of travel restrictions, stock availability issues, manufacturing shut downs and quarantine procedures.
So, we thought it was important to give an update for our present and future customers on the current situation from Ralph Bentley HQ.
As Ralph Bentley are based in a small town on the North Yorkshire coast, we are yet to feel the full effects of this international outbreak. Our office and customer services team are still working as normal, however, some of our suppliers and manufacturers are based in city locations around the UK or are based overseas.
At the moment, our suppliers are operating at normal capacity. However, some stocks of certain products are no longer being shipped from manufacturers, especially if they are based overseas. For example, hand sanitisers and disinfectant products are no longer available to purchase via our website and our suppliers have withdrawn these items from sale, as there's unlikely to be no new stock available for quite some time.
If the situation develops and the virus leads to supplier or manufacturer shut downs, we will notify customers as soon as we can. All orders are covered by our 30 day money back guarantee and the full value of your order is covered by PayPal, Shopify or Apple Pay policies.
So, if we have to cancel your order due to stock availability issues or due to suppliers being temporarily shut down, you will receive a full refund back to the original credit/debit card or payment service that you used to place your order, usually within 24 hours.
We advise all customers to follow the government advice and visit the NHS website or this link (NHS Coronovirus Update) for the latest information regarding the spread of the virus and what you should do in any emergency situation.
Don't forget. We will contact you via email if there are any problems with us sending your order. If items are out of stock, before our website auto-updates, we will notify you via email. Please remember to check your Junk/Spam email folders frequently for any order updates, as our automated emails sometimes trigger spam blocks.
If you have any issues with deliveries or placing orders on our website, please email email@example.com or click on the 'Live Chat' icon at the bottom right of every page. Even if we're offline, you can leave a message and a member of our team will get back to you within a few hours.
